 Senior Communications Manager for Operations 

Role based in Paris  

 

THE CONTEXT : 

 

Working closely with the Global Comms function, the Operations Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in contributing to communications strategies to drive the D2D’s narrative within the Danone Group and beyond. You will create, co-ordinate, align, and deliver communications activity and materials in support of Operations’ agenda and ambitions, to showcase Danone as a growth & innovation company underpinned by purpose for both internal and external audiences. Engaging with key stakeholders, you will also actively contribute to enhance our expertise’ visibility by deploying effective executive communication for C-Level leadership team.

 

 

YOUR MISSIONS : 

  • Co-develop and implement an integrated internal and external communication plan for Operation function, along with Global team
  • Create a pipeline of in-depth stories and assets to support selected comms priorities: identify, prioritize and put in editorial plan (internal and external social media channels)    
  • Partner with Operation leaders, to develop their internal and external executive communications plan – including coffee chats, social media posts, speaking opportunities, conferences, media interviews etc.
  • Build network and interact with key internal stakeholders across the global Operation organization to generate content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various initiatives
  • Measure and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team

 

 

Externally:

  • Establish Danone’s profile of Operational expertise complementary to its food & health reputation, to strengthen the Danone Company Brand.
  • Support in the planning and activation of proactive communications programmes including media relations, day-to-day management and coordination of the local PR agencies, directing the development of announcements, events, campaigns, messaging and delivery across multiple channels and audiences.

 

Internally:

  • Inform and engage all Danoners about the strategy, priorities, key programs and successes in Operational function, to reignite pride and increase understanding of the Operational function and its essential role to drive the Renew Danone strategy
  • Develop, manage and contribute to all Danone internal communications channels, including long-form article content digital signage, and employee social media (Workplace by Feysbuk)
  • Partner with cross-functional internal teams to develop and execute effective employee events, including regular town hall events and employee meetings; serve as counsel to executive leadership on the agenda, materials and key messaging.

 

The candidate will seamlessly collaborate with the comms teams alignment.

 

The role will report to D2D teams, with a dotted line into the Global Communications team […].

 

 

 

ABOUT YOU : 

  • A broad background in Communication with minimum of 7 yr experience, preferably in FMCG market and in in the field of Operations..
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, drive and execute a global internal and external communications plan in an industry environment
  • Ability to engage with senior executives to offer strong communication counsel
  • Ability and desire to connect with key internal stakeholders at global and local level and across functions, geographies and cultures.
  • Experience with traditional and social media.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English language; Strong editorial writing skills.
  • Collaborative mindset, hands-on mentality, innovative, resourceful, creative, eye for detail, digitally savvy.
